eSA Licensed Laboratories and Certification Bodies
Licensed Laboratories
The product hardware and software evaluations are carried out by our GSMA eSA Licensed Laboratories. These highly qualified, independently licensed laboratories are responsible for the detailed evaluation activities of the scheme, as defined in the GSMA eUICC Security Assurance Methodology (SGP.07). They are required to comply with a GSMA eSA Certification Body’s and GSMA licensing’s criteria for the GSMA eUICC Security Assurance scheme.
Certification bodies
The GSMA-appointed certification bodies are responsible for certification activities, approving licensed laboratories for the scheme (in line with the scheme’s defined criteria) and alignment to ensure a common approach to evaluation performed under the scheme.
The Certification Bodies are the final rubber stamp and ensure the work carried out by the GSMA eSA Licensed Laboratories is consistent, proper and meets the scheme’s requirements.
Currently TrustCB are the only Certification Body. More information can be found at https://trustcb.com/gsma/esa/ or they can be contacted at [email protected]
