A woman in a white blazer sits at a desk, focused on her laptop. A man with gray hair and a beard, wearing a blue shirt and tie, stands beside her, looking at the screen. They appear to be in a modern office setting at night.

TAC / IMEI Integrity Framework

Activities to help counteract the rise in non-compliant TAC / IMEI, including training modules that ensure best practice is followed.

Maintaining TAC / IMEI integrity

As the global decimal administrator for TAC, the GSMA’s role is to promote TAC / IMEI best practice through training and education for all stakeholders.

Part of this is to help stop non-compliant TAC / IMEI which prevails in some key markets – creating a detrimental effect on the whole ecosystem.

The TAC / IMEI Integrity Framework has been set up to facilitate both of these points. It’s where you can find the TAC training modules, as well as the activities that encourage the reporting of mistakes and malpractice to lessen the negative impact of cloned and fake TAC / IMEI.
