Shamit Bhat

Shamit is responsible for the development and building of GSMA’s eBusiness Network, the new blockchain network for the entire Telco ecosystem. This global intra-telecom network enables companies to exchange information, secure agreements for services, agree transactions, fulfil services and settle fees in a secure and immutable way.

Shamit is also responsible for GSMA’s GSMA Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) group and Blockchain for Wholesale Roaming (BWR) Group which has been leading the standardization effort for launching GSMA’s blockchain network beginning with wholesale roaming use case.

Shamit has a Professional Education in Blockchain – Disruptive Technology from M.I.T. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), a MBA in Finance from Leeds University Business School, and a BE in Information Technology from Mumbai University.
