For continued enhancement, The GSMA have updated TAC Allocation certificate. From 20 March 2024, the certificate one receives for allocating new TAC will look different.
This is an important announcement for the mobile ecosystem and allows us to re-iterate the importance of the TAC certificate. As a reminder, TAC can only be allocated by the GSMA through our appointed reporting bodies and is required for all 3GPP-compatible equipment types worldwide. The certificate adds further authority to the TAC Allocation process.

As of 20 March 2024, this new certificate is the only valid form of proof for new TAC allocated on or after 20 March 2024.
